Tony Parsons

Tony Parsons is an author and columnist. He was born in Romford, Essex in 1953. Tony started his career as a journalist at NME when he was 22 years old, and wrote about punk, which was taking Britain by storm at the time.

He is the author of the bestsellers, Man and Boy, One for my Baby, and Man and Wife - all reaching No 1 in the Sunday Times Bestsellers List. His latest book, Men from the Boys is available now.

Do you read book reviews? How seriously do you take them?

I try to read the good reviews and avoid the bad ones, to be honest. I find that works rather well, and makes for a happy life. I take the good ones very seriously, and dismiss the bad ones as the spiteful, poisonous ravings of embittered losers.
