I’ve read EVERYTHING he’s written so far and am dying to read this. He is one of my favourite authors and probably the finest living writer in the English language. And if I win the prize I’ll still buy another hardback copy as I’ll want to preserve the signed copy! Deal?

Enduring Love is a belter of a novel, McEwan is one of the most talented writers alive today, who, i’m sure, will become a staple of national curriculum (i’m a teacher in training! <3) Would love this prize to pieces. Everyone else get reading anyway!

I’ve read Chesil beach and found it a very satisfying and deep experience and think Solar looks great.

McEwan is a tremendous writer and unlike some others is not restricted to just one genre.
Books of his that I have enjoyed are The Wasp Factory, Amsterdam and On Chesil Beach – while many will know and love his recent novel Atonement.
