If it’s good enough to read you should list it!
We didn’t want Twitter lists to get all the glory, so may we present the latest feature we’ve added to your BookRabbit control panel.
Thanks to some jiggery pokery mystical magic-y… oh ok, basically Brett frowned a lot while typing in lots of words and numbers and squiggly brackets, and Dan made it look pretty.
Ahem, anyway, you can now create your very own custom book lists on BookRabbit! (you’ll have to add your own drum roll and imagine the A-list celebrity party – we’re on a tight budget).
Just hop over to your profile page where you’ll see a new heading on the left hand navigation called ‘Book lists’. Click on the link ‘Create new book list’ (we’re all about ‘doing what it says on the tin’ around here in case you hadn’t picked up on that yet) and follow the instructions to take you effortlessly and joyously to list heaven!

We did a straw poll round the office and here are a few list suggestions:
- When 5 stars just isn’t enough – books so good they make you want to do a little dance (don’t do that, you’ll look like a muppet. Create a book list for them instead).
- My all-time desert island reading list - that’s desert not dessert. Although, hold the phone… a dessert book list is a much better idea. Don’t forget the carrot cake.
- A reading list for hopeless romantics – aka books to buy your partner when you’ve had a major bust-up and flowers just won’t cut it.
- Reading my way around the world – travel books for the couch potato.
- Books I’ve borrowed – email me if you want them back.
Then there’s… graphic novels, books I plan to read again, my favourite book covers, books I’d give my teenage-self, a reading list for Stephenie Meyer fans, guilty-pleasure books, 101 books about rabbits (who slipped that one in there?) Anyway, you get the idea.
Post your own list suggestions below to help those with a nervous disposition get started… and let us know how you’re getting on with the new feature. But more importantly just start creating book lists as if your life depended on it. We can’t wait to see what you lot come up with!
Coming soon – you’ll be able to comment, vote and add to other people’s book lists. I know, it’s almost too much excitement to take in one sitting isn’t it? We’re off to lie down.
Later BookRabbiters. Happy listing!
The BookRabbit Team
