ha ha, thought that would flush you out Andrew, where have you been hiding?
Karen, Amanda Ross is the programme producer - her and her husband run Cactus TV which produced Richard and Judy. She was also the one making most of the book choices, and will be doing so again for this new programme apparently.

The Edible Woman - Margaret Atwood.  Very funny, I think, and one of my faves.

David,
Oops, my house burned down and I've lost all my treasured books. Does anyone know what I had and where I can buy replacements?
Luckily, I had my eReader with me so I can console myself that all my ebooks are safe.
I'm with Sue Good on this. My ebooks are in addition to all my conventional books, and the recent spurt of attempts to make better ebook reading devices is a welcome progression - although I still prefer my little iPaq. Indeed, if it wasn't for ebooks, I wouldn't have been able to read Hal Spacejock at all.
