I love this book.
It is beautifully produced, has amazing photographs and great descriptions of the wild places.
Christopher Somerville have chosen some truly stunning and wild places (wild according to criteria he outlines in the introduction) and encourages us to go to visit them by suggesting walks in the vincinity and telling interesting stories/facts/tales related to the place.
The most helpful piece is the map reference and what OS map it is on, so it's easy for us to find and plan a trip to.
It's genius the way this book is both a stunning armchair read and a practical guide to these places.
I want to go to go to them all!
