don't want to undervalue the quality of this book. I'm glad I read it. Three stars can be misleading. Thoughts on the content to follow.

Even the more potentially likable parts of the book were tainted with fanaticism. For instance, I was looking forward to reading Steinem's essay on transsexualism, but it was misinformed and judgmental. I doubt the woman even has any idea of how it feels to be gender dysphoric.
