So he's in. An important step for America. This result could perhaps help heal the deep divisions the US has harboured for centuries. But what does this herald for the rest of the world?

It's history in the making folks. The first ever half white president of the USA. I don't think it will make much difference for us. We're heading for recession no matter who had won. However I think his name alone will open doors around the world that other presidents have failed to open and that has got to be a good thing.

by James Pearson on Nov 6, 2008 10:14:34 AM Just as long as the next progressive step in American politics isn't electing that moronic bottom feeder Sarah Palin as the first women president. I spent a whole day chuckling as the news channels kept cutting back to Republican HQ as MCCain conceeded. What a bunch of stupid, fat white men...No surprise that Palin is their w!t-dream pin-up. Am I sorry that these dinosaurs had a bad night...After the braindead antics they lumbered us with for the past eight years, I hope the "liberal" media just keeps on rubbing it into their faces until their eyes bleed. How could you elect a man with the IQ of a turnip into the greatest seat of power in the world? Twice?!!! Are they going to elect a woman with the IQ of a turnip sometime in the future? I think the biggest achievement of yesterday's poll was not getting an African American in the Oval Office...The most exciting thing is having somebody SMART at the helm. Intelligence is always a handy attribute in crisis situations. |
