Forgive me for comparing Feeling Good by Dr. David Burns with When Panic Attacks by the same author. “Feeling Good” has some excellent information, but for me “When Panic Attacks” was the best book, and it was more helpful also. I am the person who suffers from panic attacks. If I want to look at the brighter side, I can say that I do not have depression. For me, my anxiety is more debilitating than any other thing and “When Panic Attacks” has turned out to be a godsend for me. “When Panic Attacks” has more specific when it comes to dealing with anxiety issues than “Feeling Good.”
That said, “Feeling Good” is a good book especially for those who have to deal with depression and anxiety issues. The book also talks about antidepressants, which can be helpful for those who are taking these or keen to take these.
Unfortunately, “Feeling Good” is not my cup of tea.
